What’s the difference between Spots and Dots?

Heck, I don’t know.

What I DO know – is that with very little effort and good help – I was seein’ spots ALL over the Goodwill store tonight.

Call ’em spots – call ’em dots.

I liked this.

(did not buy it though…)

I suppose one of these dots on this golf club would be the “sweet” spot?

The ugly flesh tone colored sweater was so not saved by the lovely sequins…

I think this little bear is stifling a laugh at the crazy lady taking photos in the Goodwill store.

I thought I hear him call me dotty!

My favorite – the Artful Dots.

Speaking of artful dots – that reminds me of the Artful Dodger in the high school play that I saw last weekend.

I am always amazed at the talent of those kids.

And I was totally amazed at how MANY dots/spots there are to be found in one Goodwill Store.

I took oodles more pictures and will do another post later with more spots/dots, but I also noticed lots of plaids and lots of flowers and some dang scary and ugly things today!

It is not always Black and White at the Goodwill Store

Today’s theme is Black and White:

This mess on the floor was my inspiration for seeking out black and white at the store.

People are such pigs at the Goodwill store.

I am pretty sure that most of the shoppers at Goodwill don’t do this at other retail stores.

This resin Chinese dragon fits the black and white theme for the day.

White garden hose and gray cat scratch post.

So I cheated with the orange stripe in this picture – but sometimes ya just gotta break your self imposed rules –

just to keep your spirit intact.

Tacky black and white beer/pop can wrapper thing.

I liked the graphic quality and not whatever the redneck verbiage was.

I am not even sure what these items were.

They were thrown over by the furniture – (remember piggy people at Goodwill) and pay no attention to my cheating on the black and white theme with that little pink stripe.

I thought I would shake it up a bit and use the clothing to finish off my black and white day.

Pot – Mushrooms – and Crack at the Goodwill Store

I went to my local Goodwill store before I headed to lunch today and saw something for sale that I had no idea what it was.

It was about 4 feet tall with dark plexiglass panels and looked to be from maybe the 1970’s?

Reminded me of R2D2 or Dr. Who.

This had an electrical cord – I peered inside and saw light  bulbs.

Now, I was quite intrigued.  It had a name.

PHOTOTRON 2.

I looked that name up on my iphone.

HA!

It is a machine for growing  pot in your closet.

The dark panels hide the light from peering eyes.

“No worries, Ma!  I will put my clothes away myself.  You work too hard, Mom.  I am happy to help you out.”

I went back to the store after work tonight, just to see if anything worthwhile had come out in the hours since my last visit, and I wanted to take a couple more pictures of the pot growing machine for my blog.

Too late.

Apparently, the machine sold quite quickly at what I thought was a rather steep price of $49.99-

Dude…

I feel sorry for my brain some days – the sheer amount of STUFF that I have to go through to find anything of value can certainly be mind boggling for the uninitiated.

Here I am at work. Blogging. Good thing I am the boss!

Good thing I AM the boss!   It is kinda quite today at work – I brought my laptop to do maybe a couple of listings on ebay and got sidetracked by the dust bunnies under the desks.

So I have just finished sweeping and vacuuming and I thought it would be a nice time to work on this thing called – Blog –

My office is in a Victorian house built in about 1875 and this is the view of a tree last fall through the wavy glass.

Nice, eh?

OK!  The phone rang and I have work to do.   Might even earn a little money today… ya just never know…
