A Danish Modern Sunday

Found a cool chair at Goodwill this afternoon.  Not certain who designed it.  I think it is like 1970’s Danish styling.

I had a  chair that I was tired of and had JUST started thinking of looking for something with a low profile for my room  – and low and behold – there it was.  It had just been put out today.

I had them write up the tag and then I totally spaced out and went grocery shopping – then stopped at the Goodwill closest to my home and looked a red chair there and then my brain went – “chair…chair…CHAIR!”  and I  realized — I totally forgot to pay for the Danish Modern chair and pick it up.

So I hightailed it back to the other Goodwill and someone had been going through linens and piled them up on the chair – so nobody else got to it before me.   Whew!  I bought it and had them put it in the car and now it is happily placed in my living room.

The old chair is headed for Goodwill tomorrow.   Nothing like recycling furniture!  That is so Green of me!
