Today is Wednesday and I have gone on my thrift store “route” the past two days without any luck.
At my first store this afternoon I found these:
Solid Steel bookend in the shape of arrows.
They were prices separately and I asked the manager if that was not a mistake, as they are a “pair” of bookends.
So I got them for one price.
Turns out these are C. Jere’ vintage bookends and I put them on ebay this afternoon.
We will see which way they go!
Hopefully UP UP UP!

What is this?
All I know is that it was 99¢.
Did not buy.

I have never never never seen so many security cameras in one building in my life as in and around the Salvation Army store on my daily route.
They have about 7 on the front of the store…
and about 20 or more on the inside.
Really.
I will count them tomorrow.
It does puzzle me why they need so many cameras.
It also makes me wonder with so many cameras how they can avoid NOT seeing into the dressing rooms which have no ceilings in them.
Ewwwww…
This is a thrift store!
Not a biker bar!
They have a little office with a one-way mirror (really!) and if the door is ajar – you can see those cameras doing their job.
(Hint: Don’t think you can scratch an itch in private anywhere in this store)

I drive past this on my daily route:
I am going to have to stop with my good camera one of these days and get a better photo.

This is supposed to be a RAIN chain! Not an ICE chain…
What is that drum-like contraption on top of the stove, you ask?
I have had a ecofan on the stove for years, an when I put my hand in front of it – no discernable airflow could be detected.
We really don’t use this stove to cook on(we have a real one) – just for junk mail and supplemental heat in the winter.
Look.
Ain’t that what it is all about?
